14 people from my contract were offered an opportunity to take a class. Little did I know at the time that 2 spots were going to be filled in Simplified Acquisition Purchasing. Long becoming short: I was promoted to a new position this month. For the extra money, it'll be worth it. 90% of the annual work comes in between now and September 30th. The first few months I'm here might be hectic, but other than that, I should be havin some fun times still.
We're still workin hard on our house. A bedroom, a bathroom and some touchup paint is all that remains as far as painting goes. Aside from that, I'm really workin to get the yard in order. A big "C-shape" driveway is getting replaced with a straight driveway with a parking area. It's taking some time to move all the outlining rocks and plants that are in the way. After I get all that moved, I'll have to shovel all the gravel from the C-shape into the new form the driveway will be seeing.... hopefully soon.
My Florida family is coming to visit in April for 10 days. That should be fun. Hopefully Jess and I have enough time saved up to go around AZ with them for a few days.
TMCC got into its new building. The first week in there was just this last Sunday.... the whole thing was packed out. Some people left because they didn't want to stand in the back of one of the overflow rooms.. heheh... where we ended up sitting.
Furthermore, my brother Andrew ("D.Cure") was just down for a couple of weeks. We had the chance to collaberate on 3 songs while he was down. That was pretty fun. Here they are:
